What is CoolStyles?
CoolStyles is a web platform and Chrome browser extension that lets users customize the look of their favorite websites with a single click. Instead of accepting the default interface of YouTube, Google, or other popular sites, you can apply unique community-made theme sets.
The platform covers three main areas: Themes, Custom Cursors, and Font & Symbol Tools — all completely free and ad-free.
CoolStyles is completely free. It is also available on the Google Play Store for Android, and integrates via a Chrome Extension on desktop browsers.

How do custom cursors work?
CoolStyles replaces the default cursor with a custom image via the CSS property cursor: url(...).
The effect is applied site-wide while the extension is active, with no impact on speed or security.

How to apply a custom cursor
Make sure the CoolStyles Extension is installed
Custom cursors require the Chrome extension to be active.
Go to the Custom Cursors section on the homepage
Browse "Collections" or "Specials" to find the cursor you like.
Click "Add" to apply
Your cursor will change instantly across every website you visit.
Switch or disable at any time
Go back to the list to pick a different cursor, or disable via the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar.
Custom cursors work independently from themes — you can use a YouTube theme and a separate custom cursor at the same time without any conflicts.

Applying a Theme on Desktop
Install the CoolStyles Chrome Extension
Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome".
Browse themes on coolstyles.org
Open the homepage and explore "Hot Styles" or "New Styles" to find a theme you love.
Click the "Add" button next to a theme
The extension will automatically load and apply the theme to the corresponding website.
Open the supported website
Visit YouTube or Google — your new theme will appear immediately!
Creating Your Own Theme
CoolStyles lets users build personal themes and share them with the community. To get started, log into your account and use the online theme editor.
Community-submitted themes are reviewed by the CoolStyles team before they appear publicly on the homepage.

Yes, CoolStyles is completely free. You can install the extension and use all themes, cursors, and font tools at no cost.
The impact is minimal. CoolStyles uses CSS to change the appearance, so the effect on speed is negligible on most modern computers.
CoolStyles currently supports Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera). There is no official Firefox version at this time.
Click the CoolStyles icon in your Chrome toolbar and choose "Disable" or remove the active theme. Uninstalling the extension will also remove all themes.
Log into your account on coolstyles.org, use the online theme editor to design your theme, then submit it for the CoolStyles team to review and publish.
