Tyler Blu Gunderson, better known as Blu, is the main hero of Angry Birds Rio and the Rio movie series. He is a Blue Spix’s Macaw who was raised by Linda in the United States before traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with Túlio. There, he meets Jewel, the only other known Spix’s Macaw, who is initially trapped in the same cage with him.
